A mountain-bike trail around the smaller island of Mljet will take you around its great and gorgeous national park, examining your heart with dashing mounds before rewarding you with a descent into a haven of lakes.

Cycling along Dalmatian Islands
You initiate your travel on the mainland riding the Makarska Riviera with cliffs, pure waters and coves to one side and the challenging slopes of Biokovo mountain to the other; the most gorgeous coastline in Croatia. You will bicycle pass towns of Omis, Tucepi and Drvenik where you can take ferry to Sucuraj – on the island Hvar where you can spend some time bicycling around this island. From town Hvar you take ferryboat to Vela Luka on Korcula Island. Here you can stop and visit Korcula Old Town – a historical walled city positioned on a elliptical bump of ground heading deep into Peljesac Channel. The last part of this biking journey leads you along Peljesac peninsula to Dubrovnik, the one time majestic port-city that matched Venice in charm and architectural treasure.

Makarska

The abundance of village roads, woodland trails, routes through meadows and vineyards take them to points not to be discovered on the maps of the common tourist sightseeing tours. All along the way are miniature holiday bungalows which can be engaged instantly from the holiday home owners. This contributes to sociable gathers with the local population and allows for the tourists to sample the local food and try out some of the locally made wines.
