Katy Perry struggles to keep hold of her bikini top while snorkelling in the Bahamas

Bikini girl: Katy Perry showed off her toned body in a pretty ruffled bikini in the Bahamas this week


She's a California Gurl at heart, but Katy Perry seems to be fitting right in in the Bahamas.

The pop star enjoyed yet another day at the beach during her visit, this time in bandeau bikini top and ruffled low-rise bottoms.

She headed off to snorkel at a popular spot called the Cove, at Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau.

But as she emerged from the sea, she had to hold on tight to the top of her swimsuit which was threatening to slip off.

The 25-year-old singer has been on a strict diet and exercise regime ahead of her wedding to Russell Brand.

As well as regular trips to the gym, Katy is said to be following the 5 Factor Diet, which requires you to stick to eating five regular meals a day, with five ingredients per recipe and five minutes preparation time.

The singer is believed to have dropped two dress sizes since beginning the regime and it's also claimed that she's planning to wear a two-piece wedding outfit to show off her toned body.

But despite the tough preparations, Katy has been making the most of her trip. She was spotted earlier in the weekend at a water park giggling and joking with her friends and waving to fans after performing a sell-out concert at the resort's Grand Ballroom.

Her entourage includes brother David Hudson, her assistant Suzanne Sansone and stylist Logan Horne.

Before arriving in the Bahamas, Katy tweeted: 'BERMUDA, BAHAMAS, CUMMON BABY MAMA!'
Obviously the group were having a lot of fun in Nassau, as Katy later added: 'My friends are out of their mind!'

While details of the couple's wedding are being kept secret, Katy has said she does not want the ceremony to be in their usual outrageous style.

She added: 'The wedding will be small. I always have a ton of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each others’ lives.

We don’t want it to be a drunk fest of people, just one night and then forgetting about it. We want it to be about the love.'

While the singer is away, the cover art for her forthcoming album, Teenage Dream, has been revealed.

New York-based artist Will Cotton created the cover which features a barely-covered Katy floating on a cloud of candyfloss.

He is known for his candy landscapes and Katy originally contacted him to buy one of his paintings. However, he must have been taken with her, as he ended up making her the subject of his next piece.
