The culture of Thailand has a long heritage behind it and perhaps it is this that makes it so rich and sought after. The Thai culture is predominated by Buddhism. However, other religions like Islam and Hinduism also have prominence here. The every oriental way of greeting, "namaste" is popular in Thailand too, and of course the world renowned Thai food forms a large part of the country's culture too.
Martial arts and especially boxing is popular in Thailand. The Thai culture also includes respecting elders. Elders are respected immensely and are considered to be the most important in the family and generally as well.
The culture of Thailand has been portrayed beautifully of late in the commendable press of the country, their cinema and arts in general.
