Buddhism in Thailand is the most practiced religion. About 94% of the Thai population follows Buddhism and the majority of these Buddhists belong to the Theravada school. All the major Buddhist festivals are celebrated in Thailand. However, Buddhism in Thailand has become incorporated with folk beliefs like ancestor worship as well as Chinese religions from the huge Thai-Chinese population. Under the rituals of Buddhism, Pali is the language of Buddhism in Thailand.
